Swim Level - Novice

Pre-Competitive Program (Novice)

This is an introductory program for swimmers. Swimmers will be taught the fundamentals of the four competitive strokes. The goal of this group is to become “Competition Certified” by the ACAC coaching staff. We will host a testing session on the last day of the session. To graduate to the Age-Group program, swimmers must complete a legal 100 IM and demonstrate skill proficiency by swimming a 50 backstroke and 50 freestyle with flip turns.

Practices are offered 3 days per week for 1 hour

Competition is optional
